How often does that Ranger air deflector scrape? I like the look of that - have you detailed the install anywhere?

Very often! The first version was this same thing but trimmed down. That's always an option. I have not detailed the install, but next time I have the front end in the air it's just a few screws and I can do a little write up. It's installed in the radiator support with 1/4"-20 nut serts.

Here's a pic of the first version.

July 2020. A couple film photos with the Cobra hood and bumper installed. Needless to say I was the only person at the gas station at 5:00am on a weekend...

July 2020. I had been working on a few more decal designs after making my windshield banner. I came up with this, in the style of the original Mid Night sticker used by the fabled Mid Night Club from the '90s. At the same time I also found an insane deal on an original Saleen S281 wing on eBay. Laser Red too!

July 2020. I did a little clear coat repair on the Saleen wing and got it installed, along with my new Star Dust sticker printed on reflective 3M Scotchlite.

Are you using a CPL at all in those last three pictures? It doesn’t look like it but I figured you could have it rotated to take out less reflections.

Agreed! I’ve liked reading through this thread

My friends! I did fall off for a while lol. But no bad news! Just been wrapped up in some other stuff. For some reason I got on a huge SnowRunner kick and that's all I wanted to do after work :p

I just took the car on a little 600mi trip this weekend and it was great! I'll keep up on the thread soon!

I used to use a CPL, many years ago. But no, I have not used a CPL for a long time. I like seeing the reflections for real! The only thing I use these days is an ND filter. Only on my digital stuff though.

I had the WedsSport wheels on the car for close to 10 years. I do love the look, and they hardly took any weights to balance. Fantastic wheels. I actually sold them recently, back to the guy I bought them from. So hopefully they'll end up back on his Cobra.

September 2020. I decided to pull the trigger on some engine mods. I found a good deal on a set of used Trick Flow 170cc heads, and bought plenty of parts to go along with them. The heads came with stud mount SVO 1.6 roller rockers, pushrods and guide plates. I also got a Trick Flow stage 1 cam, Ford Performance lifters, replacement oil pump, Canton deep sump pan with pick up, and a set of Fox aluminum valve covers.

December 2020. I started my top end overhaul. I figured I might as well pull the motor out to make it easier. I took plenty of cell phone pics, but also shot a roll of CineStill 800T through my film camera. Here's initial tear down and an empty engine bay.

December 2020. Freshly mounted on the engine stand, I rolled it out to the street for a degreasing.

After the wash, I started pulling some more bits off. It ended up going down to the short block with an oil pan.
