It takes a lot of practice to get your 60' down but it will happen. Your already making improvements. Dont worry about who you are racing and about your reaction time either. A lot of people try to cut good lights but it has no effect on your ET. Its fine to just sit there and let the other car go and focus more on your launch. When I have had a loud car next to me I have let them go first at times. When your happy with where your 60' is with how the car is now then you can start adding suspension mods. The key to a good 60' is traction and weight transfer. Adjustable shocks / Struts will help with the weight transfer and upper / lower control arms and tires will help with planting the power to the pavement. So far my best 60' is a 1.66 but that was still on the crappy stock uppers and not good for drag racing lowering springs.
This was a 5,000 RPM Dump off the line with sicks.
