Sounds good!

Why I was asking is that I see your deck is pretty rough for using MLS style of gasket, maybe just the pictures?

Anyways, build looks really good! :)

Got the roll cage mocked up,welded and painted. Now I just need to get some clear on it. I used gloss black, but don't seem to glossy. Also got my head gaskets ordered and should be here tomorrow! Hope to get the cage cleared and installed as well as the interior this weekend. Will also try to get the fenders on and aligned as well as the front bumper.

Got the cage in,ended up breaking a panel so waiting on that to come in. Got the wheels (for now) on it. Plan to pull it out in the driveway this weekend if its nice? Will get some pics of the cage and seats in it if I get around to it. Progress will come to a slight hault, since the holiday seasons is here. Lots of air fare to be buying in the next few months

what panel did you break?

Interior rear quarter below the quarter window. I found the driverside, just waiting on the guy to ship it. I kinda need them to be drilled already for a roll cage, cause now I kinda have no way of cutting new holes for the cage to pass threw with it welded.

Not to much progress but I did get the harness cut to relocate the coil,i also wired in my IAC for my fox TB conversion, and mocked up my engine harness on the intake. Still need little misc parts as well as my clutch and valve springs and such. Going to try to get out this weekend, over new years, and next weekend to work on it more. I hope to be driving it on my bday in march. That's my goal atleast, lets see if I can stick to It?!

Not much going on,stang is still collecting dust and taking up space. I did get the valve springs and install them a few months ago. I also ordered the clutch, all the hoses, and the throw out bearing sleeve for the trans yesterday. Also got the fenders back on. Here is a mock up of what it will sorta look like.

So as of now, looks like I have a shit ton of assembly work to do. Still some parts cleaning, little bit of tig welding, and a few misc parts to get. Also might need to cut and shorten and reweld my drive line.

Its actually not that hard to do with undrilled panels and the rear bars already welded , I didn't read the instructions at first and welded the rear bars not knowing I was supposed to use the plastic PVC pipes for laying out the rear bar location , I don't think mine could have turned out any better . I did take my sweet time triple checking

Yeah I'm still in the search for them. The ones I got were garbage. Scratches, missing pegs on the back.

Question about your Scott rod panel install. What was the reason for welding all the little holes shut if you were just going to cover them with the Scott rod panels?

hope you let someone else do that.

Just bc someone knows how to weld doesn't mean they can do it to a DS.

If you work in a DS shop that's different. I kinda doubt it though.

I would slid it in mark on the yoke and do some measurements.

Have all the confidence in the world in myself doing it,and have fitted and welded miles and miles upon miles of pipe, and if I was to do it myself I could have the insepectors UT it at work to make sure it was good. But will probably take it to a driveline place and pay the 150. Bam done! Also why I didn't weld every hole up and bought the scotts rods panels and not make my own.
