There should be two springs on the throttle body. One of them is responsible for cruise control. I think it's the weaker one on the side. The one closest to the throttle body is a throttle body spring, as mentioned above.

I have always heard of it as throttle spring or throttle return spring.

i cant remeber for sure but i got my stronger springs at ford or powerhouse(local in Ok) makes the pedal feel alot stiffer and faster throttle return

That's a throttle return spring. A decent hardware store should have an assortment of springs where you could find one that will work.

Yup... go to the hardware store... they'll have an array of springs to choose from
