Looking good!
Waiting on numbers?
Are you using the tune I sent you for starters?

Another question...
If you have the time maybe you can shoot me some pictures of the underside of your hood?
Especially the area by the hoodpins... You can send to [email protected] so your thread doesn´t get infected :)
Thanks!

What kind of chip and software are you using ? Car should make good power can wait bro keep up updated

I am using a megasquirt standalone ecu. No maf or 02 sensors needed, afr readings are done using a lc1 innovate wideband.

Looking good!

Yup used your tune to get the car up on the trailer, still has a slight deadspot in the throttle and running a bit rich, but other than that, it has helped a lot! I will send you pics of the engine bay as soon as I get the car back. What exactly are you wanting to see? Wanna make sure I take them in the right spot.

Okay sounds good :)

Well if you look in my thread I have put the big ass turbo on... It's hitting the stock hood so I want to know how the cobra r hood looks in the area where the turbo sits! :)

Update...... car is still sitting at the dyno.. These 100+ degree days are causing a little set back. They got a boost controller installed on it so just waiting for the hi heated days to settle.

Well I just got a phone call from the dyno shop. The car made 420hp to the wheels and 498tq. They had the boost set at 11lbs but were having troubles with a lot of blow by. I only have one air breather coming off the driver side valve cover. So I need to figure out a way to make it breath better. The other problem is I have a pretty nasty oil leak coming from the top of the turbo.

I just picked the car up from the dyno and holy sh!t this thing kicks! 498ft lbs of torque feels real nice. I needa fix a little oil leak by the turbo and find out a new venting system to help control crankcase pressure. Any tips on that will be greatly appreciated.

Oh there will be vids and pics!. The sound of this thing brings a big smile to my face anytime I a barely build boost. I already have one breather on the driver side valve cover but the other side is capped. Will I need to delete my pcv system before I ad the additional breather on the passenger side?

It hard to see in this pic but in the back of my valve covers I had AN fittings welded on ( the bigger the better ) so from the passenger side I ran a hose to a T that I plugged to the Pcv hole then to a catch can with a breather. On the drivers side cover I had another AN fitting and hose to the same catch can. Hope this helps.

Hey man that great! I appreciate that. So the T going to the pcv valve is this supposed to create a vacume source correct?

Edit: Also could you let me know where you got your fittings, and where to buy the bungs at? Thanks!

I do not have a sheet for this pull yet. The car is going back after I get the breather system figured out, and he will get me a sheet for the final numbers.

My tuner has a very similar set up. DSS 331, V Jr heads and comp cam. With a t76 turbo on 15lbs it made 530rwhp and like 480tq.

This is on a mustang dyno. He said they tend to read lower than others, but my last car made over 500rwhp on his dyno on 14lbs.

Not bad numbers btw... And if you can do me a favor and send your current tune(msq. File) if you would , I'd like to make some comparisons with a few of my cells, and I'm also having a few other people send their actual dyno tunes to me divi can create free base tunes, and comparison tunes from each coast to see what works for everyone, and I'll be able to mail tunes that are safe to run up to 6 psi and help a lot of people out that don't understand megasquirt..
If ya would the info I need is
State
Transmission
Distributor base timing
Turbo size
Engine cubes
Fuel injector size
Spark plug gap, and whether they are a step or two colder
The actual tune file(msq.)

Like I said its more of a query to help all users out.. And to help them help themselves..
