But pi vs npi isnt huge normally
I ran 14.0 @ 100-101 with my bolt on NPI auto all day

compared to the red headed step child non pi, and you being a fellow driver im shocked to hear that you think the Pi is overreated, when pi swaps are a BIG deal with your cars to make power thats why every 1 does pi swaps lol and its about what 45+hp more then a non pi, and pi cars 99-04 seem to run mid to low 14's 1/4 stock and trap 95-100 bone stock, when a non pi 96-98 runs 15's 1/4 trap @82-90+mph
and whats the point of saying ur bolt on modded no pi ran 14.0, when a pi car with an auto can run low 14's bone stock?and it takes no skill in a slugomatic to just floor it, if you had a 5 speed you prob wouldnt of even ran anywhere near 14.0 you would mid to high 14's best with a manual, and op just got lucky a pi car with them gears and bolt ons is a strong 13 sec car with a better driver. for example my friend with a 2004 gt auto ran 14.1@101 bone stock, and he ran 13.4-13.6@103-105 in his stock 4 valve mach1 so I would say the 99+pi cars and 4 valve cars are a alot better then a non pi stock or with slight bolt ons even against a stock non pi or stock 4 valve car..
I dont want to start a pi vs pushrod war or the pi vs non pi like this thread... but I can say the same about my 5.0 pushrod vs your year non pi, My car bone stock was running 14.6-14.8@93-95, and my other friend with his 1996 gt non pi with intake and exaust on same day was running 15.1-15.5@87-92, his best time was a 15.1@92,which was still slower then my slowest time in my stock 5.0.and his wasnt stock he had bolt ons and still slower then my stock 5.0, So yes I would say a pi is a BIG diff vs non pi cars
pi swap on a npi makes a bigger difference then just a pi car out of the factory..
arent new edges somewhere between 400 and 600 pounds heavier?
