I've always liked orange. We are preparing the car for paint, and would love to paint it orange. The only problem which one, I had no idea how many orange colors there are. I've bought a few to test already; Viper orange, inferno orange, hugger and grabber orange, even tried a chrysler sunset orange it's a hard decision. What exactly is Lambo orange? Does this color even exist? What about HOK Tangelo? Are there other variables in the final color like primer color or pearls? We are pretty sure that there will be flat black accents to try and achieve the muscle car look, anybody have some sugestions or experience.
Thanks
Mika

I agree with Duff on the Comp orange. Specially if you want it to pop. Mine is a burnt metallic orange. Much like laser red only, orange. It's the mopar color found on the trucks and what not:

Is that the color on your car with no changes or pearls or any other tricks? Should primer color be a consideration or does it not matter?
Thanks

Me? No tricks. The pant code is "PVE" I took it right from the door jamb of an 05 ish ram daytona 1500. The paint code calls for a good bit of pearl. FWIW this was sprayed over mostly factory Ford silver metallic but the mango covered very well. Front bumper was DSG, Hood was factory ford primer, C pillars were factory Ford white and the rear deck was factory Ford laser red.

There are sooo many better oranges than comp orange or hugger orange. GM actually has a few sick orange colors, a couple of which were mentioned. the orange I've seen on some Lambos is sick, but then again so are the yellow, green, blue, white etc colors on a Lambo.
