Making slow, but steady progress.

Took my engine out of the car.

I also shaved my valve covers. I forgot who it was with the build thread that also did his, but it seemed like a great idea and it took all of 20 minutes lol.

Before

After

Still going to prime and paint those later.

I also got my heads back

So all kinds of fun stuff has been happening. As soon as I get my pistons back from being relief cut I will start assembling the engine.
Today ups came. 3 times. ☺

Stage 4 el-cheapo clutch kit
Found several reviews about the damper springs failing so I got a super aggressive clutch with no damper springs. What could possibly go wrong?
If it works hey! Cheap clutch. Money saved
If not, oh well I didn't lose much

Also got my flywheel, bearings, and piston rings.

Total cost of bumper so far. About $80 lol. It doesn't look perfect up close but I get irritated with body work quick. It'll be professionally done one day.

Damn you've been busy! I wish I could score a bumper like that, people still want $300 for ones that have been destroyed

What's your address?
I'll send you some towels to put between the motor parts and the paint!!

LOL
Haha that's funny man. Its a rattle can paint job. If I see a scratch I just tag it up and it blends right in.

For comparison these are my wheels on my friends 96 cobra with the factory rear end. My car has the 99-04 rear end which is 3/4 of an inch wider on each side.
