The good old H vs. X pipe debate...article i found

I was searching online for the classic H vs X comparison and stumbled across this little article

Now it doesnt say what car was used (2v/4v) but it seemed somewhat helpful.

thanks for the link it was interesting. I went with an X because I was also going with a side exhaust so I was hoping the shape would help to kick it out a little easer. Not sure if it helped or not, but the fact I found it hardly used on craigs list with high flow cats(magnaflow) for $75 was the other reason.....

For the smooth sound of the x-pipe Im fine with a 2hp loss, lol, I will be a new air filter on it

I'm an X...probably doesn't matter with boost, but it does cackle a bit more on decompression. I just changed from factory cats (H) to a BBK X pipe with welded-in Magnaflow 2.5" metal hi-flows. Nice and loud! ccasion14: Happy New Year SN95 Mustang Enthusiast!
