Spend less! Are you saying you spent less or that you spent your money elsewhere?

Spend less!
Yeah and the guy with heaviest wallet always wins.http://www.sn95forums.com/forumdisplay.php?69-Dyno-Performance
Just FYI. There have been threads on this before also, usually turn into some sort of a pissing match. Cuz we're car guys!
Not a good comparison. Most of my parts were bought used. Heads, cam, and pistons are exceptions. I'm a low compression Naturally Aspirated setup at that time. You're boosted already. We are using different dynos.I spent a metric butt-ton less than post #23 and I was only 20 hp shy.
Yep, spend less.

You're "before" was dyno tuned and now you're self tuning?
Then:
410w [4.0 x 4.040, SVO block]
Procomp 210 heads*
Edelbrock Performer RPM*
42# injectors
Trick Flow stage 3 cam
stock throttle body*
stock mass air*
cheap cold air intake*
1 5/8 shorty headers
312/375 (Mustang dyno, you can add 15% to that for Dynojet figures so around 360/430)
The valve springs weren't matched properly to the cam shaft and it suffered greatly under load. Now the combination has been tweaked to the following, but I haven't hit the rollers yet:
Now:
410w [4.0 x 4.040, SVO block]
Procomp 210 heads CNC ported and added AFR valve springs
Trick Flow R intake
42# injectors
Trick Flow stage 3 cam
70mm throttle body
card type MAF
Custom cold air intake
1 3/4" longtube headers
My latest log showed I was running 30-35% leaner than before between 0-3000 rpms. That tells me I have a greater airflow potential than before. I haven't done any WOT tuning due to time constraints.

This a street car? 408 that's a big boy
Larger injectors wouldn't hurt nor would an intake that'd let you rev a littler higher.
Quite the perceptive devil aren't you? My long time friend initially tuned it and i tweaked it at home to get it to idle after the top end revamp. He remotely helped me through the process and it's actually quite rewarding.
It's a street car that's being prepped for HPDE events and other open track events.
As for benefiting from a better intake and larger injectors, you're right. It would help out greatly but I'm content with what's there for now. My attention is currently on suspension, braking and chassis upgrades. If you're bored, click "The Unicorn" in my signature and it'll bring you to my build thread. The first post has the highlights and the next 1600 or so posts are the long version.
https://youtu.be/KiI7g84JU7QSchool me on HPDE. I'm not a racer, but sometimes I'd like to give it a whirl just to see what it can do. My luck though I'd probably wreck it or blow the motor and it'd end up sitting in the weeds.
*Edit* HPDE- pretty friggin cool. Something I need. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Performance_Driver_Education
