Thought I had my most recent dyno sheet but I do not. This was dyno sheet before meth, car produced 50rwhp and 2psi gains after meth tuning. Build is a 283 ci motor, MMR stage 3 PI heads, custom grind bullet cams, Victor Jr. EFI manifold. Glenns 1000hp fuel system, Paxton FMIC, Vortech V7 JT trim, AIS meth:

This isn't my lastest sheet but it was last years.

Stock '03 bottom end
TFS 38cc heads
CMS stage 3 cams
PI intake
BBK 78mm T.B.

Ive since added the Edelbrock intake and 6061 elbow. Gained horsepower and lost torque as expected

I spent a metric butt-ton less than post #23 and I was only 20 hp shy.
Yep, spend less.

Not a good comparison. Most of my parts were bought used. Heads, cam, and pistons are exceptions. I'm a low compression Naturally Aspirated setup at that time. You're boosted already. We are using different dynos.

I know it. N/A I spent around $1,800 for a stock bottomend .(030 bore) rebuilt e7's, a .512 cam, and I had the stock lower intake ported by Tmoss and I only made 223 rwhp. A foxbody sold and $3,100 later I made 332 w the Vortech 6-8# kit. All new parts.
It works but if I could do it over again I'd start with better heads. Poor homework on my part.

410w [4.0 x 4.040, SVO block]
Procomp 210 heads*
Edelbrock Performer RPM*
42# injectors
Trick Flow stage 3 cam
stock throttle body*
stock mass air*
cheap cold air intake*
1 5/8 shorty headers

312/375 (Mustang dyno, you can add 15% to that for Dynojet figures so around 360/430)

The valve springs weren't matched properly to the cam shaft and it suffered greatly under load. Now the combination has been tweaked to the following, but I haven't hit the rollers yet:

410w [4.0 x 4.040, SVO block]
Procomp 210 heads CNC ported and added AFR valve springs
Trick Flow R intake
42# injectors
Trick Flow stage 3 cam
70mm throttle body
card type MAF
Custom cold air intake
1 3/4" longtube headers

My latest log showed I was running 30-35% leaner than before between 0-3000 rpms. That tells me I have a greater airflow potential than before. I haven't done any WOT tuning due to time constraints.

You're "before" was dyno tuned and now you're self tuning?
This a street car? 408 that's a big boy. Larger injectors wouldn't hurt nor would an intake that'd let you rev a littler higher.

Quite the perceptive devil aren't you? My long time friend initially tuned it and i tweaked it at home to get it to idle after the top end revamp. He remotely helped me through the process and it's actually quite rewarding.

It's a street car that's being prepped for HPDE events and other open track events.

As for benefiting from a better intake and larger injectors, you're right. It would help out greatly but I'm content with what's there for now. My attention is currently on suspension, braking and chassis upgrades. If you're bored, click "The Unicorn" in my signature and it'll bring you to my build thread. The first post has the highlights and the next 1600 or so posts are the long version.

School me on HPDE. I'm not a racer, but sometimes I'd like to give it a whirl just to see what it can do. My luck though I'd probably wreck it or blow the motor and it'd end up sitting in the weeds.
*Edit* HPDE- pretty friggin cool. Something I need. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Performance_Driver_Education

Not the greatest video, but the first part is a pretty good break down. It makes getting on track super easy and a very fun environment.
