If I was only worried about big power then I would change out the throttle body but I'm just going simple...i see where ford went with a dual blade setup. maybe to promote a vortex effect. however i think if you opened on the intake manifold throttle inlet and single blade throttle body would introduce a lot more air. for a boosted applications it creates a bottleneck. for instance look at cars with PD blowers IE: whipple and KB. the mouth is effing huge and creates less inlet restriction.
