Damn those flares look good! I really like the direction this build is heading, if this is only 40% of the finished product, I can't wait to see what's next

Cleaned the bay up and got it all new looking. It pops now.

Took it for a ride and then did some testing on making it hook up.

also ordered some things that I have been needing and gonna buy things here and there to finish up where I want it and then time to save up for a full forged 5.4 bottom so I crank the boost up high. 20ish psi.

Isnt the traction loss enough? Why do you want more?...

Driven by a tiny bore and more stroke than a 514cuin

At some point in time someone probably said "why do you want/need more? Isn't 200 enough?"...........to then be followed by "are you crazy? Isn't 300 enough?"............and as we are today with factory cars making over 600 people still ask "you can't get traction in the first 3 gears, why would you want more?!?"

Another 20-30 years someone will be sayin "it came with 1,000 from the factory, why do you need more?"

We're men(most of us) it's what we do, it's what makes us who we are. And with that being said................

.......us men demand big smoky burnout vids!!!!!!!! $-)

If I can't make 600-700 hp work then I need to give up. There are some heavy hitters down here in Louisiana and I'd like to be considered one of them. I mean with the IRS I'm only gonna hook so much before it tears it's self apart but if I have enough power to run them down then I don't have to beat on it so hard to get the yank.

So I went to a test and tune out in Gulfport Mississippi and got one run in. I will say I was going there to just tool around and practice and the car did so well I put it up after first try. Lol my goal was to get it to 11.80's ha but I did even better with a 11.6 at 122mph

The IRS is awesome but as you know it will only take so much when your pushing big numbers. I've considered swapping to IRS but my builder keeps encouraging me to stay SRA as I'm not done with the power department yet Lol

Btw, your car looks great and good pass!

Check out the website fulltiltboogieracing. He will tell you the IRS is just fine. You really just have to solve the wheel hop problems and make sure the diff is secure and you can put power down with it. Don't be so quick to dismiss the IRS.

Great pass Adam. How did feel throughout the run?
