One of the things I regret selling is my engine lift years ago. When getting an engine stand don't get a cheap one that has 3 wheels as it many a bit unstable with the large dohc heads.

Tranny jack is also great for moving it around.

Got some painless powerbraid and relay kit.

Went to my builder and he discovered as I expected some issues. Piston to wall clearance was too much. He said looks like whoever build the block did not do a good job. As you can see there is oil everywhere. Currently I have 18cc dished Diamond pistons. I will probably go with 5cc dished to get compression up from 8.1 closer to 10.1. This is high for boosted pump gas however for e85 it will not be a problem. Since compression will be bumped up it will add much needed power down low.

Flywheel has new insert and ready for balancing along with crankshaft. When installing new insert make sure to torque to 5 ft lbs or 60 in lbs according to Fidanza. Nuts are oval locking, no loctite.

Old insert was in rough shape. Good thing about these flywheels is that for around $55 you can replace insert. For drag racing a steel or lightened steel flywheel is better but if you want something that revs quicker aluminum is what you want to get like for a track car.

Thanks, things are going to pick up once I get the crank back. This is the reason I am redoing/checking everything myself as it may take me some time but at least I know it was done right. TOB missing nice size chunk? New HD Ford TOB. Should be picking up my Promotion Blue 750 plate and disc within a few days.

Picked up my Promotion Blue 750 Clutch kit. Let me just say that customer service cant get better than the people at Promotion. Here is the Spec pressure plate. The clutch disc has kevlar on one side which may explain why so many say that the Promotion setup is the best single disc setup they have had.

Back side of plate, notice the CF2 surface.

Here we have the pate side of the disc.

26 spline alignment tool. If you perform a t56 swap you will need to wire a switch to activate the solenoid which sits next to the shifter. The solenoid is used to prevent from accidentally shifting into reverse. Since non t56 cars do not have this feature a switch needs to be added to activate the solenoid. I will get into this later in the build.

Well it took 9 weeks but finally got my pistons. MMR custom Manleys and notched for cams. Going to drop it off at machine shop so they can get bob weight for balancing the crank shaft. I am also going to order a custom camshaft but hopefully it will not take 9 weeks lol.

Thanks but I really didn't have a choice. I would of preferred to hire somebody to do it but I've been let down so many times. I realized that shops are no better than doing it yourself as long as you get educated. Best teacher is google ;)

Looks like Jesus Chris hand crafted those himself.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, (John 14:12 NKJV).

If this is the case then praise to God.
