Did a cold start on both cars, no problems. Yay! Found my GFCI outlet is tripped and won't reset, even when disconnected. Boo! Hope it's the outlet and not the wiring....

Knocked the rust off the rotors. Bumped the timing a couple degrees. I need to fix an exhaust leak now.

Heh. When my son swapped the Cobra brakes he couldn't get them to bleed completely. He had to go to work before I got home. As soon as I stepped into the garage I saw he had put the calipers on upside down. Naturally I laughed and teased him. He swapped them when he got home and informed me how much easier it was to bleed them.

Well...Haven't been on the forums in a looong time! Sold my chrome yellow daily last fall. Been doing little things on my new 98 GT: 1) Thoroughly cleaned MAF (idle vastly improved!) 2) Replace heater core hose & flow restrictor (hose burst) 3) Cleaned bay from the mess ;)20200410_064334_HDR.jpg 20200405_142905_HDR.jpg

tried again without success to remove the lower rear control arm bolt. I did get it to spin with a long bar and socket, but the impact wont spin it. It rusted/seized to the control arm sleeve from what i can tell. I've not had this issue before on even older cars. Kind of sick of the damn thing right now.

Used a little bit of nail polish to touch up my cobra calipers. Don’t laugh it works and it a lot cheaper than actual touchup paint.

Its not perfect but from a couple feet back its not noticeable. I’m going to wash them and clean them up better when I install them.

On a side note, I’m thinking about going with a 4v swap instead of a coyote swap. But its going to be a while either way, I don’t even have a garage right now to work in.

Agree. If i come across a white sn mach1 for a decent price i'll probably have to get it.
If you can can get a mach 1 do it
I love the one I got
Like when people ask what kind of mustang is that
Then when you pop the hood the wows
Same way with my 95 gt can't tell really what it is I had to highlight the rear bumper open that hood never seen a gt 40 intake before

1. Installed new Screaming Demon coil
2. Made a Snake fly! Ok, just jacked it up to try to get under it enough to install full length subframe connectors!

Got drivers side bolted to the seat bolts; used motorcycle/ATV jack as an extra set of hands, and a rubber mallet to pound it up snug! Got front 2 holes drilled inboard side but can’t get drill with 3/8” bit in there to drill all the way through!

Looks like I’m going to have to bolt them in to the seat bolts then have them welded in. Bummer. Was hoping to knock this one out myself. Unfortunately, I can’t weld

Exactly lol. I’m not looking to spend a lot of money on this car its sort of a slow budget build. I’m just glad they have the pony on them, you don’t see that often.
