Over the past week I've been working on my '00 taurus DOHC wagon. AC compressor went bad, the bottom radiator hose rubbed the engine cradle, and eventually wore a hole in it. I replaced that specific hose, one of the top hoses, thermostat, serpentine serpentine belt, AC compressor, AC lines o-rings, and went over all the other hoses while I had it all apart. Ford's SOP would be to drop the cradle, but I pulled all the metal coolant hoses, fans, fuse panels, battery and tray, and a few other small components. Hell of a lot easier that way. After work tomorrow I will be charging the AC system, but thank the good Lord she is put back together again lol.
