huge cams/intake on a modualar would have NO bottom end. and would suck for a "tame" street car.
that's just my opinion.

Mid range cams ect would be better.
best would be to add boost, but I'm sure you've heard that before.

I plan on going boost here in the next year or two.. i'm about to add a PI intake onto V this weekend.. and then PI cams next and proceed with bolt ons. I'll probably be getting a tubular K and coil overs setup here soon

Modulars are a good daily driven street car...the engines are relatively good on gas. 5 speeds should be able to get almost 25 mpg if you drive right and have a tune up. They do lack the torque down low..but that shouldnt matter if your just trying to get around.
