they are especially proud of anything with a harness on it I have noticed. It is not like it is black magic to crimp some ends and stick them in the harness but for some reason if you were to look at their pricing it would seem to be something you need a certified expert with years of training and tens of thousands of dollars of equipment to complete.

I could make the same harness for probably 1/5 of the price but on demand/instant gratification is the way of the world :)

ya know I thought of all the possibilities that an internet search for it could turn up and feared it could go sideways quickly and be misunderstood. With all the slang the kids are throwing around who knows what ADA means to people now.

OMG you big wuss. It was only electrons and do you have any idea how small they are?! In all seriousness yea there are a few volts in those wires from the days when it had to drive a motor to ring the bell. That was a life lesson you never repeat I am sure :)

I accept being called a wuss. But man, that little shock straight to the damn teeth, really rattles the dome.

I remember folks wiring lamps up to those phone lines when power was out, it’s enough to light up an old bulb so it’s entirely too much for my teeth. lol

trust me that was all sarcasm as I am sure it was more than testing a 9v battery for sure. I am just dating myself with an old movie quote that always stuck with me since I know very well how electrons can tickle, but what you got was a little more than a tickle for sure.

Good ol' Holley. They shortened that sensor by 8", so anyone (meaning me) who had their harness fit to their chassis BEFORE they decided (not telling anyone) to shorten it, will have to either customize their harness and/or make their own jumper (Holley's is not worth the $$) to make it fit. However, if you're starting from scratch, forget the other stuff I said.
