Picking up my 351 today... Offered him $400 he said ok. I'm picking it up today after 4 my time(east coast) Can't wait! I already acquired a flywheel for it, My buddy was at the mustang junkyard today and actually ran across a set of Hooker shorty headers for a '94/'95 those were only $50, also met a guy who has a used oil pan and pickup. I'm off to a pretty good start so far! just got other little things to sell in order to finish my project... I'm excited... Pics to follow! :banana: :banana: :banana:

right now, since i can't seem to sell any of my damn spare parts i've got laying around... the goal is to get only what i need, headers, oil pan, fuel pump and regulator, gaskets... I want the engine in the car by the end of April. so i have time to test and tune it cause i'm going from EFI to carb... it needs to be ready to roll by FFW Richmond June 20th-22nd. long term goals, it'll eventually be a 408 or 410 fully forged... I am looking into have a machine shop set it up for a full Hydraulic cam conversion, I'm wanting to run a Comp cam somewhere in the range of .512 lift or so. with an edelbrock intake and a set of P&P GT40 heads that are 2.02int and 1.56 exh... after this build is done, or atleast at a stopping point, i'm converting to my 390 build for my other '95 GT

Heading out to get that 351 in about 15 minutes... waiting on my buddy scott(the one with the S2000) once he's here we're rolling out. don't know when we'll be back. I'm going to bed erly though. I haven't been in bed before midnight since Monday.
