He continually touts his suspension and racing "expertise" because he has two rear swaybars and is the love child of Dana Patrick and Mario Andretti. Unfortunately, he has ZERO racing experience, and the extent of his suspension knowledge is only that which he can repeat like a parrot from some other place on the internet.

Only thing I could find for actual weight of the new mustangs was 3620 :shrug: not trying to fight, just saying. I couldnt even tell you how much mine weighs but im sure its prolly close to that. But anyways, to the actual topic at hand, yes, those guys were good racers in that video. and no offense Steven, but I personally like the SN95 body style more. However the more I see the S197s (I think is what the new ones are?) the more I start to like them. But I havent had the chance to drive one yet.

They really do weigh that much. They are built on a LIncoln/Jag chassis, all that stiffness and quiet ride come with a price. However what's under the hood is what counts, and they have it there in spades. I mean, ten years too late, but they finally got it, lol.

That said I've driven about a dozen of them, and really don't like them, but I suppose I could grow used to not having my dash pop whenever I leave the driveway.

For what its worth I was under the impression that the 94-98 gts weighed somewhere around 3300 bone dry...5 speed


so I guess with some weight reduction Handz could be close to 3100....maybe more like 3200 though

I only one I ever saw scaled was a Saleen with an auto, optioned up, and 20's, it weighed 4120 or something like that with the driver.
