Thanks.
Yeah seeing my car in a magazine someday would be really cool, but I won't hold my breath. There are a lot of nice cars on this site, let alone the rest of the Mustang 'community'. Midwest Sonic Blue photo shoot has a very nice ring to it though. haha.
My car will probably be road worthy around the end of May. I really don't have much left to do on it, but being a full-time student and working part-time, having free time in between is fairly scarce. I'm sure that completion date will get pushed back, just like it has every time, but that's what I'm shooting for.
Any projected completion time for yours?

Sounds, good, I hear you about the time, I work full time and then put in overtime as a Dad..lol It is a great feeling though! On a completion date, I am not sure, One thing I said is that when the car is complete, I want to own it, not have a lot of credit card debt! Things added up quick and my 3 years of savings has come and gone quick! I know I could cut corners from powdercoating this and that, but I want it done right, I want to pull it out of the garage ready to go, and what I envisioned from the get go. I am trying my hardest to get it done by the end of June. I want Supertune to tune my car, Roger is great, but they are moving and the new shop doesn't open until June/July. Shooting for suspension/brakes, wheels and tires by the end of April, Spend May on interior, finish the body, and the wiring. That would leave the fuel system and tuning for June! I did get the calipers back today and they look amazing! I will post pics later!

Good luck on yours! I will keep checking out your build.

Had to test the new wheels, 18x10 Saleens, love the way they look with the powder coated calipers, and slotted/drilled rotors! Added the hawk pads too!

Here are the calipers:

Came out nice! He did the brackets for the calipers as well!

Not sure what size tires to run on the back, I have searched and looked at threads for size ideas, I am thinking of 305/35/18 for the rears!

Jason, at Painted with Powder did the intakes and tube, they look great, and here's a shot in the car, and one with an under car shot with the TKO 600 waiting in front of the car!

Here are some misc. parts, Procharger pullies, altenator/powersteering relocation kit, and fuel goodies!

oh my bad, pics look a little purple to me, i thought it was sapphire blue, not sonic blue. thanks, my spoiler is a Saleen T1

Okay, updates, the Hydroboost unit is repainted, flat black and mounted, there are a lot of write up son Hydroboost swaps, incase you missed it, I was going to go with a Terminator transplant, but decided against it, and since I started to put in Hydroboost it is a mission to finish the swap. Had to drill an extra hole on the firewall, and widen the center hole to get it in, but it looks factory! I also installed pedals from the same 04 Mach 1 donor, which was no different than going from the automatic to a 5 speed pedal from a 94-98. Put the steering rack in from the same car, and then took all the holes and adapted them to -6AN fittings. 3 on the Hydroboost, 2 ont he rack and 1 on the powersteering pump. I am running -6an teflon lined hose from the H.B. unit directly to the pump and rack for the high pressure lines, and I am putting in a -6an tee fitting to go to the rack, H.B. unit, and the pump, with the only excepting being that the return line from the pump to the tee fitting is adapted and bumped up to a -10an hose. I wanted the return line to the pump to be bigger, and hold more fluid in reserve for the pump, thus eliminating the need for a powersteering cooler. I will get pics up later with part numbers incase anyone decided to swap in a hydroboost unit, and convert it to AN hoses/fittings.

Thanks for the compliments, and hopefully I will have the fuel system plumbed with pics next week, and started to install the steering hoses and fittings! I will keep you updated.

I definitely will, If you decide to do it, do not use the factory hydroboost lines/hoses. Also get a unit from a 99-03, Do not get the 96-98 or the 2004! The 2004 has a distribution block on the side just like the 99-03, but the low pressure return is left hand thread, and they do not make a fitting to convert this to an, I found this out when I almost overtightened and stripped out mine, the realized it was lef thand thread, had to have a machine shop drill and tap it for a right hand thread Metric to AN adapter. I will keep you posted, getting the last of the fittings today, and should start to finish it up this week.

interesting. luckily enough i had a line on a full setup from an 02gt that i was going to use. i was going to make my own lines too like you said, no sense in using the crappy, most likely ill-fitting, factory lines. in for a penny, in for a thousand dollars....

also, is that you who might be scoring some saleen fancyness? not sure if you want it to be public knowledge or not so i don't want to say specifically if you don't

Saleen Fancyness, yes, I am making the outside of the car look like a Saleen, I have the authentic body kit, door fillers, and spoiler already painted and ready to put back on, I have never seen a Saleen with Shaved door handles and Sonic Blue. I am debating on wether or not to put the decals on it, like the faded stripes, on the door and stuff?? Open to suggestions on that, and the window banner. The only thing I do not have is the other one of these>>>>>

I need a passenger side............. ANYONE??? Please help me find one.. that I can afford... lol.

i like the door fade, but not the banner.

Chris@stage3 is some kind of parts-hunting-god.... he tracked down the door fillers, he may be able to track down taillight insterts, too!

I will have to ask him, there is a guy on a few other websites, and ebay, he has 3 or 4 sets, but only sells them as a pair. I found this one on a white taillight at a local Mustang part store, the actual taillight was craked, I got it for $25. Couldn't find the other one.
