Figured since I'm going crazy on the car this summer I might as well start a build thread. My goal is to get it on the track for a HPDE in the next couple months and then move up from there.

Here's my build blog if you want to see what I've done so far: http://peteoxenham.tumblr.com
And my flickr where I dump tons of pictures of my car and what I'm currently working on: http://www.flickr.com/photos/91509898@N07/

Engine is all ready to go back in. PI heads and manifold are on, block, timing cover, valve covers, etc are painted. Got prothane motor mounts because mine were completely shot.

Phase 2 starts tomorrow, cleaning out the engine bay, filling up holes, and painting it. Getting a new steering rack because mine had some play in it.

If I had any money left I'd jump on that! Coilovers are next on my list though

Got the engine/trans in today. I've read that people prefer to put them in separately but mounting the transmission to the block was way easier out of the car (obviously).
I used a tilt lift so getting the whole assembly in there was also pretty easy.

Got my battery relocation kit today and installed it in the trunk. Ill post pics once i get photo uploading working again. Also installed the intake manifold, plenum, starter, alternator.

All that's left is exhaust, driveshaft, wiring harnesses, and a couple other little things. Should be back on the road this week!

Got the engine running last night, getting a couple codes still so I got to figure out what's going on.

Codes are P0232 and P0307. First one is something with the fuel pump, second is misfire on cylinder 7 but I think I just didnt have the spark plug wire in all the way.
