How much did that ABS material run you? I've been knocking the idea around but I don't know what material I want to make a splitter out of.

I got a 4'x8' sheet 3/16 thick for about $80 after tax. The sn95 splitter only uses 70"x30" so its enough material to make two. Can't really go wrong for the price.

ABS seemed like the best mix of weight, durability, and cost. Didn't want to go with something crazy expensive because I don't want to be screwed when I bust it up.

Welded up most of the tubular bash bar/splitter support. Today I need to add the lower supports, tow hook mount, and machine all the clevises, then the splitter should be pretty close to done.

I really like the splitter. I think I'm going to use the idea but move it under the front the car. The class I want to run in allows belly pans at the front axles forward. Since the Mustang has nothing (well, mine does), I think I might make a belly pan using that plastic...

Group buy poxenham splitters

The D3V

I'm flattered haha. I was actually thinking of making more if a few people were interested. Shipping would be the only issue. Probably would be the bash bar, support rods, hardware, and then a template for a splitter so you could just make it from whatever you choose ie abs alumalite plywood cf etc

It will probably be out of my budget-build price range but I would definitely be willing to pay for 2 of the splitter rods + hardware if the price is right.
It would save me from having to buy some premade ones from APR for like $70.

If that's something you could do, let me know.

Definitely. Once I get mine made ill price it out so you can buy the individual components

you need to come over to my place and help me with my car. I'm more than likely going out to willow springs at the end of this month. I would love to do that splitter setup on my car. I was going to do one with abs plastic too. I'm serious about meeting up....I could use some of the expertese you obviously have so I can finish this bad boy up.

I also have a rear wing I'm looking to get rid of if you want it.

Both of you guys need to come down to Fabulous Fords so all 3 of us can hang.
It would be a fun 6 hour drive for you guys lol. Hopefully Madstang would go too that way it would be a bunch of purpose built SN's + me :D

lol....mine isn't registered for street use sadly so I'd have to tow it or something. I think we all just need to meet at willow springs or something and hit the track together. or buttonwillow...that's probably the best middle point between us norcal guys and you socal guys.

I'm totally down, just hit me up. I'm in rocklin and I'm self employed so my schedule is pretty free. Can you pm me pics of the wing?
