This past week has been a good week for my mustang (and a bad week for my wallet)!

First off, I got my bumper, quarter panel, and decklid repainted. Bumper had a few scratches, quarter panel paint was peeling, and a couple dings in the decklid. Looks fantastic now!

Second, since the bumper was getting paint, I used the opportunity to re mount it with quarter turn (aka Dzus) fasteners. Now the whole bumper comes off in a bout one minute, so it'll be great once I have my second/track bumper with splitter etc. I'm planning on doing a little write up by the end of the week, its a great low-cost mod.

Third, while the bumper was off I finally upgraded myself to the latest tow hook design (powder coated, grade 8 hardware, etc). I was still using an old protoype haha.

Fourth, I picked up a pair of Corbeau A4 seats w/ 5th slot for a 5 point harness. These things are freaking fantastic and great seats for track while keeping ease of getting in/out for daily driving, especially for the cost (under 400 each). Didn't want to pay for brackets so I did some welding on my stock brackets and made them fit.

Last, I finally got around to buying a real water temp sensor. Got the electronic short sweep pro comp gauge from autometer. Installation was pretty easy, I made my own bracket and went completely OCD on the wiring. Everything is like perfectly ran w/ shrink wrap, a custom cable to the guage/light, etc. It looks pretty raw but I like the race car feel haha. I'll be getting an oil temp, trans temp, and oil pressure gauge pretty soon to, so i'll be making a new custom pod too that I can spend a little more time to CNC, laser engrave, etc.

Just stock 01 cams. Is fords cam timing advanced or retarded from the factory?

Its all over the place, the cams can be off from one head to another so its impossible to tell. Stock is normally 114* a few that i have checked have see anywhere from 112-117

Things that are coming soon:

Coilovers in front, and either coilovers or adjustable LCAs in rear.
NT01 Tires, going wider in front and a bit thinner in the back for less stagger.
Cage
13" 6piston wilwood brakes, stainless brake lines

Finally taking it to sears point Feb 15/16, should be fun

That custom hub adapter is a nice piece. And that's an awesome deal you got on those shocks & struts.

Been busy with work lately (sadly all non-mustang related ) but here's a couple things I've done on the mustang recently

Shifter boot, finally. So much quieter now.

Thanks man. The wheels are just replicas I got from late model resto, 20 front 24 rear according to LMR iirc. Would like to go with something better but my wishlist just keeps adding up haha

How much did that ABS material run you? I've been knocking the idea around but I don't know what material I want to make a splitter out of.
