Blower arrived today! New polished vortech v3 Si. Got the blower mounted to the bracket and bolted in tonight and got it clocked around so I can finish the piping tomorrow after work! Getting excited!

Ughhh so jealous. Be glad you bought it polished and aren't polishing it yourself like myself

Was only $100 more for the polished, so I couldn't not do it. I knew it would cost me over $100 to get it polished

Yeah for $100 you would be an idiot to not get it. I had no choice as I bought my kit used for a great price

I was looking for a good used head unit for a while but I couldn't find any v3's for a good price so I went with a new one

Thanks dal! I really wanted to go Hellion after seeing your car for years but opted for the blower for now, little cheaper and i already spent a lot on the american racing headers lol. Maybe in years to come I'll change it up!

Ya know, any blower puts the car into a better tier.
If I was to do it again, I would have blown it with a bolt on blower first, like tires, lowering springs, blower....
Then I could have enjoyed the car during the long build phase, and could have gone full out later on, available funds and all that jazz :)

Thanks y'all. Finished piping it tonight. Gotta just file down a couple of cut joints and get them marked and taped and get em to the welder. Also hopped on treadstone site again tonight and ordered up all my t-bolt clamps and stuff to make my own powerpipe! Headed to advance tomorrow to pick up my filter and a muffler clamp to use parts of it to make a pipe bead tool so I can bead a couple ends on a couple pipes to help prevent them blowing apart! Getting closer!!

Pipes are off and been dropped off to the welder! Should have them back this week and get it buttoned up by the weekend 100% as long as my powerpipe pieces make it here in time!

Welder sent me this pic, welding is done but he is going to weld in stainless sleeves in the ends to prevent any crushing at all from the tbolts. Hoping to get them back tonight possibly!

Looks great! One question, are you leaving the factory belt tensioner on?

Yes I did. Seemed very strong still. Should it have problems I'll upgrade to a thump tensioner

Pipes are back from being welded and installed, as well as the maxflow bypass and ba5000. Test fired it and let it run for 30 sec. Car is pig rich with the bigger injectors and new mass air. Last couple of pieces to do my powerpipe should be here by the weekend I hope!

New coupling and 4" 45 degree came today. Got the powerpipe mocked up tonight. The filter I bought is too big so gonna return it tomorrow and look for a smaller one. Hope to have it fully buttoned up by the weekend and start getting a date set for tuning!
