and to add to that. when i shaved my pinion snubber the pumpkin was definitely hitting the undercarriage of the car under hard acceleration.
have already taken it out twice and the car is a bit of a transitioning nightmare but initiations are easy with low end torque and the factory lsd makes holding the power in drift pretty good other than that we wait till i get coilovers to really beat the beast
isnt posi where if one of the wheel is spinning freely, the other does not move where if you have an lsd, the other wheel will compensate and start spinning too?
When 1 wheel spins freely (aka 1 wheel peel) is an open diferential.
Posi is an LSD. it's a chevy term, that's all.
Tracloc is an LSD too.
The transition problem is likely related to the "snap" correction over steer problem that the sn95 has. The bushings and suspension are binding then releasing . Reason being that the wheels are not sliding as far out as the body due to grip. Pressure builds in the suspension. When the pressure builds too much it releases. That release is either the body jerking back into line with the wheels or wheels sliding to catch the body. Sometimes when this happens the rear end of the car will violently jerk back the opposite way as the slide. Better bushings are a common first step to fixing the issue.
I would recommend reading these articles/threads and making your own decision on what parts/mods will work best with your budget. Specific paragraphs to read would be in second link in rear suspension as it explains much better than I did on how ours are faulted and better fix.Sounds like a good idea to me which bushings do u recommend getting done first
