Oh and before anyone asks, I have a support bar holding the engine from above. The floor jack is just an added precaution.
Looks good , that air tube , I made one with the fittings and galvanized tube a flare tubing kit from lows at the plumbing department , worked out fine
you might have a section missing or different year of header , in some headers there a little different

I thought about doing that... I went and talked to Chris At the Dyno Edge today. He recommended just deleting it all and deleting the IMRC's as well. he said he could tune it to pass emissions so I will go that way.

Better off IMRC is a major pain in the ass , mine nothing but problems ,cleaning them all the time seems like , cleanest part on the car

I ordered the IMRC delete plates yesterday. I'm pretty sure the headers are for a 98 car. There is always some little detail I have to learn the hard way even when I think I know about these cars...

I got the motor mounts back on and bolted up the K member only to realize I forgot to put the dipstick tube back in... Well crap! Oh well. Looking at the control arms I see that the ball joint boots are torn. Ordered up some new Moog ball joints. Things are taking a lot longer than I had hoped but I knew there would be some unforeseen complications.

Just replacing the ball joints. I have poly bushings in the control arms already. I thought about ordering a set of BMR control arms but I'm already spending way to much just to install a set of headers...

I got a lot done today. Pulled the K and motor mounts and installed the dipstick tube. Put the K member back in, installed the rack and the control arms. I

Put the convertible brace on and was glad to see it clears the headers. The steering shaft also clears, I was concerned about that... The headers don't hang below the vert brace so that's good too.

If I had it to do over I would have dropped the motor and trans. I like the Stage 8 bolts but it sucked installing them with the motor in the car. I got the MMR imrc delete plates and the new ball joints. I need to rent a ball joint press.

I need to call SCT and get the X3 tuner I had for my 98 GT updated so this car can be tuned when I'm finished with all my projects.
