thanks oam, that is what i'll be doing. i'm leaving the 308 that i have the way it is until around fall, then i will hopefully be installing my 410-427 69 block Windsor. I will port match the trick flows i have now, buy a 351 gt40 lower intake, port match that, use the tubular that i have, and buy a better tranny. this will hopefully all be done by next winter.

cool, thanks

what do you think about the cheaper tweecer or megasquirt kits?

tweecer is a piggyback which still limits you to being maf controlled ecu. It works but if you want a big motor like a 422 like Paul its nice being able to run speed density or alpha n (which uses rpm, temperature, and TPS output readings only) Megasquirt has had good reviews compared to the big names out there. I can't speak for the other but Megasquirt is worth the 300 bucks total for EVERYTHING you need to start tuning. It's a standalone and has inputs for wideband and rev limiters etc. Also it datalogs. Very solid system IF you willing to learn.
