Here is a short bio of the car. I purchased it in 2009, and drove it for a while. I got bored of the wimpy little 3.8L and found a crashed Cobra for a drivetrain swap in 2010. I swapped all the drivetrain over, and sold what was left. After this I was left with a stock looking 95 with the 96 Cobra full drivetrain. I drove it for a while and enjoyed every minute of it. In the winter of 2011 I was hit by another driver on the pass. side. When going to pick up the replacement door and fender, I found the guy had a whole black leather interior also. I purchased the interior, and the body panels, and proceeded to do a interior swap. I then took the insurance check, and had the whole car repainted with some small custom touches. I then left it as it was, enjoyed it and maintained it with some small mods like a King Cobra clutch and a full stereo system. In the winter of 2012 I purchased a 99 GT roller to flip and found out it had URP suspension parts. I swapped in the URP front coilovers, Tubular K member, Tubular A Arms, Rear Control Arms, 4 Bolt Camber Plates, and Exhaust. I like that setup a lot, but the rear was too bouncy for my liking. This summer I found a crashed 03 GT with full Maximum Motorsports coilovers, Camber Plates, Panhard bar, and some other misc parts. I purchased all of that and had planned to install it all this winter. Along with these parts I picked up some other parts like a Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter, Poly Motor and Trans Mounts, Coil on Plug valve covers, and p/s reservoir bracket. Below is the biggest, and most important mod of them all for this winter. I picked up a 04 Cobra IRS with 75k miles. The rear already has MM Derlin Lower Control Arm Bushings, MM Poly Subframe Bushings, MM Diff Brace (2), MM HD Tie Rod Ends, Slotted Rotors and Hawk Pads. This rear cost $950 which I consider a steal for the parts that have been added already. Along with the IRS I am going with MM rear coilovers, a different exhaust, 03/04 Cobra Polished Rims w/ Nitto 555 tires, and maybe some custom paint on the outside.

Thanks will do! I will have a full thread on it. I have to finish another mustang, put an engine in a jeep, then do a timing belt on a 06 accord, and then I can put time into the stang!

Well I have decided that it's about time to update this build again, not too much has happened since I last posted but here's a brief low-down on what has been done since then.

  • IRS swap is almost complete. I bolted it all in, and have it driveable for now. Still need to get an exhaust for it.
  • Front end is ripped apart to install my MM Coilovers/Bilstein Struts/MM CC Plates
  • Headlights have been removed in preparation to install my 6k HID's and Smoked Heads/Corners
  • MM Rear coilovers have been ordered and are processing at the moment
  • Scott Rod Fab engine bay delete panels are ordered and on their way
  • Stock 96 Cobra engine wiring harness has been picked up and is ready to be cut/spliced/extended/deleted for the wire tuck
  • All the COP parts are sitting on a shelf waiting to be installed
  • Steeda TRI-AX has also been purchased and is awaiting install
  • LED Cluster/HVAC bulbs have been purchased and are awaiting install
  • New Visors to fix the non-working ones not are awaiting install
  • 03-04 Cobra rims w/ Nitto NT555's which are currently being polished before installing
  • T45 transmission harness has been removed and is ready to be fixed (all 02 sensors throwing codes, reverse light not working with new sensor)
  • 98 GT Console has been oredered
  • Black Cobra embroidered floor mats have been ordered
  • LED Reverse Light/License Plate bulbs ready to install
  • New License Plate Bulb Lenses ready to install

I will upload some pictures this coming week of whats been done, whats being worked on, and whats sitting on the shelf waiting to be installed

Some of these include from when I got it, when I Cobra swapped it, Got in a accident (not my fault), Had it painted, Interior swapped it, Misc. mods, IRS Swap, Suspension work now. More pics will be on the way soon... very soon.

UPDATE 1/11/14

So its been a while since I really put up a update. I am still searching for a Saleen/Kaenen S281 spoiler but I will find one eventually. I have however purchased Black Beauty style headlights, 6k HIDS, MM Rear Coilovers, Bilstein Front Struts, Tinted Tail Lights (on the way), 98 Console (on the way), Cobra embroidered floor mats (on the way), and some other small misc parts. So enough talking for now... onto some pics.

Current stance with cut rear springs, coilover fronts. Waiting to install the coilover rears.

Here are the rims which I will be running on my cobra. They were going to go back on the 99 GT but I decided I like them better on the cobra lol.
