Until you get later down the road, a 3k stall should be just under the meat of your torque curve. In other words, a good match. A 3600 stasll would be even closer, and give you the room to grow later. Like I said, lol, 3k is what I suggest to nearly everyone, justy to get them used to the idea, but if you don't fear the stall, 3600.

3600 (3500 whatever, it's a 100 rpm), is just starting to touch on the meat of the torque curve. That's right where you would want it to stall

Originally a friend told me to get a 3500 stall, shift kit *which I chose JMod* and 3.73 gears and it would wake my car up.\
So maybe I will just go with the 3500 stall and call it a day.
Really you said there wasn't much of a difference, right?

3600 3500, what one person calls one, another will call the other, potato, potato kinda thing. It's not exact, adding cams can change your stall speed by 100 rpm, alot of things can and will.

as with any stall and shift kit mod, install the biggest trans cooler you can physically fit. I went with
a stacked B&M 24,000 GVW for about $65. I have heard of the trans pan boiling over from the heat
that is generated from these mods. Also, it will add longevity to your trans.

ok, thanks.
I know J.R. said to get one as well.

off topic but, I need a new oil pan because a while back I hit a small steel box looking thing on the interstate *had no choice, 18wheeler beside me and another behind me.... bad day* and also that bar that sits right under the tranny which I think is a Panbar? *that will come with my suspension package, so no worries* but yeah, a nice sized undented oil pan.

anyways, where could I find that B&M 24,000 GVW? Will that fit in with most of my stuff being stock? Also I wanted to get a new radiator. Also a nicer coolant tank and all. I've seen pics of them and saw one in person and it looked soooo clean. It was black with a screw on top... Canton or something makes them..

Look on Summitracing.com They have about every size and type of trans cooler you can imagine, find the one you like and then google it for the best price :thumb:

They also carry the radiators.

If you just want to put it in front of the radiator, pretty big, probably 12"x12 pretty easily.

As a note, some people prefer not to mount them in front of the radiator so as to not block airflow to the radiator. I personally wouldn't sweat it unless you live in like Arizona or something. Just an FYI

Where else would you mount it if not infront of it?
I've also seen ones that were infront leak onto the radiator...

Yes, Summit is where I got mine about 8 yrs ago. I have seen them in their current catalogs, also.
I also mounted it in front of the rad, and have zero issues.

If you get one with a fan you can mount it anywhere you feel like running the wiring and lines to pretty much. And the street rod compact ones can mount on the framerail.

They shouldn't leak though, but yeah, if they do leak, it will go all over the radiator.
