I would recommend you put your wheel on and make sure it isn't going to rub those hoses where they go down. I discovered that they shaped that area behind it to make JUST enough space for the tire to fit in. My ride height sensor was mounted to the frame directly above the sway bar mount and when I went to the 19" wheels they tore one of them off and I don't think it stuck out that far.

didn't you say it was for a volvo? I am surprised its as loud as it is for a volvo but yea you will not hear it over the exhaust.

You have to remember the way he has it setup as do I, they are running at 80% duty cycle all the time with some increase due to pressure. In the Volvo at idle it’s at 10% same for highway speeds. My custom FPGA that is held up at the moment will be able to control it via CAN. I moved away from steering angle and went straight to speed like Volvo did. I originally thought it was based on steering but made a mistake when going through the data I logged. Luckily I have access to a Volvo with this pump and can log data anytime I like. When it’s running at 10% at idle is near dead silent.

I like the prospect of line pressure decreasing as vehicle speed increases. That should give a good 'road feel' and not be 'twitchy' at speed.

My first drive with my Development setup worked really well. I’m impatiently waiting on my beta version of my boards to show up.

Installed the new pressure fitting and I’m happy to report it stopped the leak!

However, during the initial testing and then bleeding phase it quickly discovered the weakest point in my system. It sprayed Pentosin everywhere

The hose on the bottom, nearest the firewall seems to be under stress and I will have to straighten it out some. I may change the 90* fitting to a 45* and relieve some of that bend.

Better there than a stripe down the road, then no brakes faster than you like....

you might be better off with a non-steel wrapped hose as they are not as stiff and I don't think it would create as much stress on that connection.

This is the picture I wanted to recreate and I’ve accomplished that. The car drove there and back without any issues. I’m going to bolt the seat belts down for the next trip. Decided it was time to shock test the brakes and woah mama!! It REALLY fucking stops with authority. Should’ve thought it through because everything in the trunk/back seat wound up in the front floor board. Oops.

Now that I have things working as they should, I’m going to buy new rotors and install my new pads to match the back.

Did not take pictures of the process but I’ve solved the leak problem. Made sure that I have about 2” of clearance at full lock and I’m ready to install the inner fenders.

My tuner wanted to me work on adjust the TPS until it was reading 0% at idle and I’ve accomplished this too. I’m going to drive the sucker around to get some data logging for him.

I hate going into the attic. Why? That’s where I have the cool stuff hidden! If I don’t see it, I don’t worry about it. Man, I really want these wheels on the car.

What Brembos are you running?

EDIT: never mind, found the information on page one. I use the Cobra R/Focus RS/Grand Turismo calipers.
