Did some extensive cleaning on the cobra! (before I left Norman)

Got to Dallas and picked up the car! Mounted my HO Fibertrends hood. Not sure if it is too tall or not..

I will say this.. this car is a BLAST.

I took it up on the access road to check everything out, and decided to get on it. I was rolling 20 mph or so and punched it. The RPM's flashed to 7,000 as the tires were spinning like hell. The car kicked out hard to the right and slowly changed lanes. The cool part was the RPM's stayed constant until the tires caught up and second hit HARD.

Definitely impressed me! I am used to the Cobra levels, so I figured this little eaton couldn't really surprise me. I was wrong. I thought the car was merely "get a ticket" fast.. but alas, it is definitely "go to jail" fast.

Lovin it. Cannot wait for the built motor/bigger head unit.

In any event, paint for the hood is next, and I will be installing my crab claw 95 Cobra spoiler.

naw, it just looks big because it's white. will look great when painted.

Got the estimate from the bodyshop today. Painting mirrors, spoiler, and hood.

Here is the spoiler with rattle can paint by me. Also painted the original third brake light. I think I can live with it until I can afford to shave it!

Got the car back today. They were supposed to paint the underside of the hood. I popped it and it looks like SHIT! It has to go back. This is why I hate living in Norman ****ing nowhere Oklahoma. In Dallas, it's not hard to find someone who knows what they are doing.

I wanted to take some good pictures for once?? They also broke my door panel on the inside.

Damn. I owe Tony a freakin' beer. All the rough riding, bouncing my ass all over the place, etc.. it WAS the bump stop.

I wish I had done that a LOT sooner!

But.. I got under the car to do it and noticed how disgusting the rear axle/suspension is...

This is disheartening because it's going to get expensive from here... thinking

Love the build and want to do a KB or Tork teck system on mine. I searched and couldnt find the threads you mentioned with parts list for the swap you got a link?

Tires -- Not sure, too small. I can tell you I will be going to 285 Nittos in the rear.
