Wash that bay. Nasty! Thats why I always power wash before I start tearing stuff apart. It keeps me cleaner.LOL

I am going to hand clean it all when i get all the parts out. I still don't like power washing the engine bay. Just too much pressure to get into electrical fittings. This way i have control of the cleaning. Call me old fashioned just seems the way i like to do things.
It's a Vortech V1 S-Trim. It just got shipped out today so pics will be posted when it arrives.

Vortech? My bad. I Shouldnt be speed reading. LOL
yeah some Superclean and a scrub brush does the trick. I have to clean the under side of the car cause the tow truck that hauled the car when i moved was a reg wrecker and it was raining. So now the under side is very filthy.

i still think we should put the engine on a stand. you can even borrow mine, if need be. then you really can get to cleaning. also, did you bag those header bolts there were 3 left i didnt have the motivation to wrangle. i have a plot for the 66 brewing.

We could yank the motor completely. Unsure yet though really. Yeah i bagged all of them so far just 2 left where the power steering pump is i can't get to yet.

mark says he can do it all with just a drywall screw. I am getting the whole gasket kit from FRPP for a 302. I'll speak with him over the next few days and we'll see
