this combo did 211 RwHp with 265RwTq .can somebody tell me if my car is leaning out?

Ok, it's too rich. You see on your torque graph, where the line looks like a little kid drawing mountains? Well that is probably your plugs misfiring because they are getting a very rich, nearly 12 to one a/f ratio. It could also be detonation, but I can't tell that because I wasn't the one dyno'ing it. It's something you hear, and just feel on the dyno. I believe with that a/f ratio, that there is still some power left in the tune. How much advance was it data logging? What advance was in the tune? What software are you using?

actually it was just a power and A/F dyno so later on i can get it tuned, but for now that chart is not tuned

deff needs a tune, that graph is all over the place, be careful dont beat on it until its running good and tuned, those numbers are very low, my 95 gt dynoed 201rwhp with no mods, so u deff have more in it for power deff prob 215-230rwhp or so

deff get it tuned will make a whole of a diff...if im not mistakin your 3rd graph on your dyno sheet it your a/f you want it closest to the line in the middle that they way all my sheets look like all are on the dotted line in the middle and they way it looks it is runing way rich..lets us know how it goes when you get it tuned

from what i heard , here in puerto rico since its so hot and humid those numbers are good for a non tune , check out temp 103 and humidity 32% ether way i sent the graph to the person im gonna buy the SCT tuner and ask him to make a tune based on the dyno.

ya but every car is diff..if it was just a base tune then all that is so you car will run with your mods but still need to get it on a dyno to have a true tune for YOUR car

I doubt it is a custom tune, who is it coming from? Anyway, the heat and humidity is going to lower hp for sure, but in a hot, humid climat like you are in, you need to be leaner because the air is thinner due to the heat and moisture in the air. Less oxygen, means less fuel is needed. Just a suggestion.

I see what you are saying, but that car wouldn't run at that a/f ratio, that had to be a wide band 02 sensor going bad or something. It would have rattled/detonated itself to death. I can only assume that.

Re: 97 GT Finally Dynoed, make comments

to give you a comparision my car was on the dyno last month and with these mods....
PI intake
C&L plenum
C&L intake
high flow catted H
Mac catback
3.73's(not that it matters on the dyno)

My car made 211/260

Now im still running the stock TB, no under drive pulleys, catted H and no tune.

My buds 97 with just pulleys, K&N intake, O/R X and flow catback made 214/281 on the same dyno right after mine was done. Every car is different and these NPI cars dyno stock anywhere from like 175whp up to 195-200whp. Its a wide range and it just depends on your car, I think your about where you should be.
