The power steering lines should be easy enough to get through ford. Hell if I can get factory ones for my 93 ranger, I am sure you can get them for a cobra. On a side note, would the ac controlls from your car work on an 04? If so, I would be rather interested in it, as I believe they use the blue "film" and not the green.....

Yeah, they would fit. I'd do $20 shipped on it.

Sooo be Mr fancy pants why don't ya and get a whole new control cluster LOL that's pretty sweet man

It's just one of those things. If there's no AC system, I'd want the controls without the "norm a/c" and "max a/c" wording on it.
Most people probably won't even catch it unless they knew the Cobra R came with the different HVAC control panel.

My brother has an engine stand and a hoist that he said I could barrow, but at this point, I'll probably just finish tearing it down in the car. It's nearly done anyway. And then I'll take him up on the offer to use his stand and hoist when I begin working on putting it all back together.

I will be sure to let you know if I ever find another one.... which you probably know as well as I do, the chances of that are virtually 0.

Funny thing that you said that. The guy who I got my Bassani Headers from had a set of genuine Cobra R seats as well as some other bits that he was using in his race car. From what he told me, all the parts that were left over from the initial build of the 00 Rs were given to those who were building them. I honestly dont think I can get a replacement panel from Ford, however I will check when I go back to work on Thursday of next week (vacation because of wedding).

Also, I am always looking for Cobra interior/exterior parts. If it is in good condition and it would work on my 04 gt, I would be interested (I all ready have a 99 cluster, 10th anniversary shift boot, watching the 10th anniversary ebrake handle, 03 cobra mirrors, ect), such as the front cover, termy hood, ect.

Didn't do much with it yesterday besides spray some bolts on the exhaust with a shot of WD40.

The 99/01 cobra/export tails w/ harnesses came in today...

Maybe I missed it somewhere but it didn't come with the export tails already?

And just throwin this out there lol, I love the exports personally but I do have to find it kinda funny how in most cases... We use tint to cover up the orange lights. Yet on New Edges were dying to have the tail lights with the orange. Just kind of something that cracks me up. Those will definitely fit perfectly on the Snake man

Yeah, originally all the 99 and 01 cobras came with export tails, but unfortunately, somebody ripped them off the white car before I got it.... which isn't uncommon because they're worth $500+ a set these days and people usually pull them before selling their cars. :deeplist:
