how 2 get 300RWHP???

i want 2 kno what mods cud give me a SOLID 300RWHP on my 98GT auto w/o nitrous. if u have recommend cams, heads, etc please tell me which ones u suggest. Example- (Comp 247XE). thanx. jw wut combos people think wud b best.

i have 304 and 310tq

ported polished pi heads, comp cams 234* 238* .550/.550, trick flow upper, ford racing throttle body 4" jlt custom ram air....

Hitech stage 2 cams, bolts ons, pi heads/intake.

They get you close to 300, if you have longtubes youll exceed 300 by a few

Youtube hitech stage 2 camshafts and look for tsprink2's videos, thats trevor's mustang GT. He runs 12's with some suspension upgrades and bolt ons.

Just buy another car we got the worst v8's ever know to man its not even worth doing all that to get 300rwhp when an ls1 with just headers pull up and smoke you :angry7:

actually just do as described above. many guys out there with good heads, cams, proper intake and exhaust systems pushing over the 300 all day long. granted a power adder is easier and more fun but anything over the 400 mark and your running on borrowed time. do some research over on modularfords.com about different set ups out there.

you can get the with PP heads, cams, but for the $ you can also get a basic centrifical blower, which is better IMO.
you can also doe th 5.4 swap.

modulars love boost.

and for the record a 32 valve (96-98) is rated to 305 HP. actual rwhp is around 280.

do your Pi head swap, Comp Cams (VERY AGGRESSIVE + Springs), Longtube headers, well full bolton's really..

This is a picture of my dyno sheet at full bolt on's ported pi heads, pi cams, shorty headers, all n/a (some people believe I had a freak motor though) :.shrugs shoulders.:

^ I am laff, follow the non gheymaro lovers advice and do the HCI+bolt ons or 5.4/32v swap abd you are there.

I agree with the 32 valve motor swap, but not to beat down so much on our motors... I'm very happy with my results going N/A for the 300mark. And 4 the record, I already have under my belt a win over a 2009 EVO X(with bigger intercooler and gate) and a 98 LS1 camaro Z28 (with headers, exhaust and tune) :icon_rr:

So it's not that bad at all :thumbsup:

Get some aftermarket cams.

Hitech stage 2's are the best stage 2's on the market, and are very capable of producing 300+rwhp

Get some longtubes, and youll be there, for sure.

DUDE!!!! I know :crybaby2: It's been a while. Last I heard from U, u were gona go with a cobra and left alone the 300rwhp project. What's the progress on that??? I finished mine on September and its been a blast!!!! I love the way the set up turned out. Plus I did a mayor change in the paint job and appearance of the car. I'll get u some pics. So whats up with U :dontknow:

Yeah i was gone get a cobra but i was gone do a tranny swap, then i moved and everything just got out of whack and never got a chance to finish i could have been done with the build but lost intrest and sold my cams, tranny, rims, springs, and everything else i had looking for a 5.0 sn95 did you ever get that beast dynoed??????
