Dude I would put air in my tires on the lift if I had a lift in my personal shop lol
Have you done that belt swap yet?
That's why you have to make sure it's the right pulley. It'll be close, did you try the new pulley and test fit it?
There is a guy down here by me that rebuilds them. They arent hard though. Take it apart and see whats bad, you can probably order the individual pieces on line.
Ive never torn into one. If it's decently simple I will take a look at it I'm hoping to pull it off the car tonight.
Very easy. I had never done one until recently. A quick you tube video and 15 minutes later, I had mine torn down and ready for paint. I think we have a 3G alternator. So you tube, how to tear down a 3G alternator and youll have it figured out in no time.
I think I jinxed myself getting on here the other day. Today after going to a local festival car wouldn't start so got a jump and got about a mile down the road and she died out again. Got it jumped yet again and got back home. It wouldn't hold battery power unless rpms were 3k+ looks like that chrome alternator is toast. Does anyone know someone that rebuilds them? The damn thing is only two years old and 160amp no under drives and no subs or anything pulling significant power.
