Dude I would put air in my tires on the lift if I had a lift in my personal shop lol

Haha I felt the same way when my uncle first got it. It's a 4 post not that I'm complaining but I'm always getting on him about picking up a 2 post if we find one for a decent price.

Have you done that belt swap yet?

Swapped out radiators last night. No leak now. I was unable to find where it's leaking from on the driver side when the shop did a pressure test it was leaking from a tiny hairline crack and the plug which I knew about. I also snapped a few pictures of my belt tensioner and the idler pulley it looks like if I reroute the belt after deleting the AC compressor it's going to be real close there is not much clearance is that the normal clearance?

Out with the old.

That's why you have to make sure it's the right pulley. It'll be close, did you try the new pulley and test fit it?

Didn't attempt to test fit it last night. I had forgotten the pulley at my apartment. Might see what's up with it tomorrow evening. Just wanted to double check and see about the clearance.

Finally got around to painting my tail light bezels last night on the new set of tail lights. When I bought them they came in a dull black. Let them dry all day today I'll snap a picture of them painted when I get home.

Went to the annual "old fort mustangers club" mustang only show this past weekend. There were over 150 mustangs. I have some video I need to upload too.

UPDATE:
Well it's been awhile since I've gotten on the forums because I've been so busy I thought I'd post an update. I'm actually in the process of buying a house supposed to close at the end of this month so I'm excited to finally have my own garage that I can fill with car parts. As for the car I haven't touched it much since the new tails. I do have some plans this winter for her though.

-new fuel cell/straps/cover and weld in mounting point for strap on passenger side rusting a little bit where it attaches to the frame.
-new fuel pump, filter, and hat
-new rear tires *thinking of going with the Nitto NT05Rs*
-possibly a new clutch/flywheel depending on time and money

That's the plan for now anyways! I am also wanting to revamp the interior at some point with black carpet/reclineable racing seats/rear seat delete/and roll cage. Not sure when this will happen but it's on my agenda. After interior is squared away I am going to focus on getting some boost. I'll post some pictures of the stang in her new home in the next couple weeks. Cheers!

I think I jinxed myself getting on here the other day. Today after going to a local festival car wouldn't start so got a jump and got about a mile down the road and she died out again. Got it jumped yet again and got back home. It wouldn't hold battery power unless rpms were 3k+ looks like that chrome alternator is toast. Does anyone know someone that rebuilds them? The damn thing is only two years old and 160amp no under drives and no subs or anything pulling significant power.

There is a guy down here by me that rebuilds them. They arent hard though. Take it apart and see whats bad, you can probably order the individual pieces on line.

Ive never torn into one. If it's decently simple I will take a look at it I'm hoping to pull it off the car tonight.

Very easy. I had never done one until recently. A quick you tube video and 15 minutes later, I had mine torn down and ready for paint. I think we have a 3G alternator. So you tube, how to tear down a 3G alternator and youll have it figured out in no time.

I have a 4G because I could only find a chrome alt in the 99-04 alternator. But I will do a little YouTube research I'm assuming they can't be too much different from one another. Hopefully it's a rather simple fix.

Little Update:
I ended up closing on my first house at the end of September, I'm excited to finally have my own garage.

As for the car I ended up pulling the alt and tested it and the battery. They both tested out fine so I drove it home from my uncles went to start it the next morning and it had a dead battery. Picked up a new battery and she's ran like a champ ever since.

I also got around to hanging up a birthday present in my garage.
