I know it's a "simple" piece, but it just looks so cool.

Front Mount cold air intake and the slot style Maf conversion is done. The hole from the hood notch still needs filled, but im working on that as well.

I also got the crankcase breather setup installed. I wasnt happy with the can being anywhere inside the engine bay, so i stuffed it under the passenger fender behind the tire. Im still waiting on one last fitting to finish the driver side plumbing:

I also picked up a few items the car was missing.

Clutch fork cover:

Some Cerwin-Vega 6x8 speakers. These things were on sale a few weeks back for $80/pr and i found a coupon for $20 off a first order, so a set of 4 cost me less than $150. I also installed them, but no photos:

I also topped of all the fluids and took it off jackstands. At this point i was able to pull the car out of the garage under its own power and burp the coolant ans hydroboost system. The hydroboost is still really loud, but im guess that is bc i need to drive if to get all of the air out of the system.

I figures out i have a pretty nasty exhaust leak on the driver side ball/socket flange at the header, so i need to figure out a way to fix that. I have thought of doing longtubes, but that is kind of a waste of money since they will be taken off once i begin the turbo setup build in the near future.

I also layed up a CF plate (with my reflective Copper CF as the face layer) so i can cut some pieces for my center caps out on the CNC router.

Intake looks great! How long since it has moved under it's own power?

I have a short 10 second idle clip, but tapatalk wont allow video uploads and its not worth sticking on youtube.

My primariy machinist doesnt want to take his personal time to only do 2 or 3 bracket sets, so i am looking for an alternate source. [emoji2357][emoji2357][emoji2357]

Between working on T1’s, ive got a little bit done.

I replaced the -6an power steering pump feed line with a -10AN line and no longer have issues with the pump screaming.

I also got the front lip/splitter rivnuts in place and bolted that onto the front bumper.

Im not sure how i feel on the splitter lip. I’ll leave it on for now until i decide if i want to invest in making my own Really nice race style splitter from CF or kisy buy one.

Other than this stuff, ive just been doing small tasks.

The rest of the few days i have at home this month are going to be dedicated to finishing the T1’s and getting the car final sanded and prepped that way come vacation in May, i’ll hopefully be able to get this thing painted.

I like the splitter. That color pops!

Thanks! Im really digging the color and am glad i didnt go with the blue i originally had planned.

The splitter is growing on me, but i still kind of wish i had made the lip larger by another 2” or so.

Oh well. Maybe when i decide to finish the body work, i’ll add some lip to it and cover it in CF.

Moving along nicely! The carbon fiber details are awesome with that color. Can't wait to see what you do with your time off work!
