I thought there were more then a few things that need to be changed/modified to fit an ls, like the K?

4.6 k member works fine, even uses 4.6 motor mounts. You just need an adapter plate that bolts to the block and fits the 4.6 mounts to it.

So I’m confused, if you have an aftermarket k then why would you still have problems??

so confused

There are too many variations to list but each vendor designed their respective kit differently. Some require the front sway bar to be removed, some race kits don’t work with AC, others require the oil cooler to be deleted, only the Helluon kit works with the MM k-member BUT only if you bought the Hellion specific k-member.

The ONLY way is to build my own kit.

I'm modifying the standard 4.6 4V coolant system to be much simpler by design and to eliminate a few hoses in the process. The first steps were to have the bypass outlet welded shut and to strip the crusty factory coating.

This is the built 8.8 I picked up and i started to remove some of the rust & crust. This will be stripped and either coated with POR15 or a nother rust inhibitor then painted.

This sucker has an Eaton true-trac differential, Yukon 31-spline axles, 4.10 gears, Strange c-clip eliminators and a LPW girdle/cover.

Man.. F*** these modular factory power steering lines .. They don’t fit worth a f**k!! I’m returning them to rock auto and I’m going to do the AN conversion.
