It seems we damaged the heater hose when we installed the engine back in early 2018.

It just had to be behind all this mess, right?

Naturally, no one has that hose in stock so I made one.

This was wasn’t even hand tight.

This particular connection has an internal issue and has to be remade.

Now to figure out why this is blown...

eh trying to figure out why mine will not start now and trying not to think about parting it out.

Don’t make me drive to Evansville and kick your ass. Your so close to driving it.

What’s been done since the last time you started it??

Figured the fuse ordeal out. I’m stupid. Now that we’ve established that, here’s the reason:

2EC3C3A1-1776-4B91-B575-9FF4AF79A598.jpeg

This is how it’s wired left to right;

1. Power to fan
2. Power incoming
3. Chassis ground
4. Fan ground

This is what should’ve happened:

Somehow, I wired it with the connector backwards :D Since it’s soldered and loomed already I’ll just switch the pins in the main connector. Instead of green being + and black being - , black will be + and green will the - . Like it SHOULD be.

The power steering leak was repaired by trimming the damaged section of hose and reinstalling the fitting.

Swapped the pins around on the fan controller but I’m afraid I must’ve fried it.

or so I thought... My laptop started doing strange things and now it won’t sync with the Holley ECU.

Well, since that’s happening I decided to install my NRG steering wheel hub and quick release.

Apparently I’m missing a few screws so I ordered a set of red screws. To embrace my inner ricer.

Also, my rear end cover is leaking for the lower plug. Great..

it matches the fuse and the red wire on the floor nicely :)

Good eye, I really need to secure the wiring under the dash but I have a few more to run beforehand.

but now don't ya need to replace the screws around the gauge bezel in the dash as well? Don't ya love little details?!

I bought that gauge bezel from Paul years ago when he was selling them. I doubt I'll even use it.
