Don't feels bad, I'm fighting a lot of the same issues you are, waaaaaaaaayyyy too little room under the hood but with mine someone already cut a hole in my bonnet! Whenever I can get some $$ together I wanna get a Cobra type R SVO with a 3 in rise hood for mine! The black 95 SN-95 I had came with one of those hoods and I just fell in love with em! I swore the next pony I got that I'd get another good like that wether it needed one or not!!

I had that exact same issue after I installed my 225 amp alternator. I had to cut 1/4" stainless to make a bracket for it and then after I got it all done and installed I realized it would hit the stock hood. Thankfully I had been planning on an aftermarket but I know that feeling of accomplishment followed by "OO-FUDGE"....

trust me do yourself a favor and put the HP where you are going to leave it, and run the wires to and from there or you will regret it later. There is so much wiring in there that its pretty unforgiving on how you can tuck/hide if it comes down to it and its amazing how an inch too much can be just as bad as an inch too short.

Luckily, the Coyote stuff is longer than the modular harnesses. Everything is in the same spot it was before.

My FAST throttle body came in and I couldn’t throw it on fast enough.

Looks like I’ll have to mill one corner down to clear the coolant line.

At first I didn’t think it would work at all due to this large opening but realized it was a blind hole. What a relief, I was ready to go riot.

The fit will still be very tight due to the upward cant but look how much space I was able to save!

Overall, I’m happy with it and I like the powder coated black housing over the polished Accufab.

I’m going to make this happen, just going to take a little geometry and a few curse words.
