Yes the romeos have 11 I believe and the windsors have 13/14Aren't the valve cover bolt hole patterns different on the Windsor and Romeo, or am I thinking of something else?
Thanks anyways man! And yeah valve covers on the Windsor have more boltsI looked in my garage that fly wheel is a 5.0 fly wheel been a long while I seen that thing
I bought a lot of parts from a guy at one time
Could have swor it was a 4.6

Yeah I think It’ll be fine but only time will tell. Worst comes to worst I’ll throw some jb weld on itnot sure what the temp rating of plastiweld but hopefully it can handle the heat
I got 3 quarts of magnetic grey with metallic, it’s the Toyota oneAll the base coats I’ve used mixed 1:1 paint:reducer. If that’s the case for your paint, a gallon will be good.
What color are you spraying?
Will do! And I’m not 100% sure I want to yank the fenders and doors off but I’m still tossing that idea around, I do need to replace my passenger door though since the door skin is messed up in the corner and I don’t think it’s fixable..3 quarts might be good enough if you are smart with your work and don’t waste any paint. Might I suggest mixing only the amount of paint you need to do the job.
What’s your plan for disassembly, you taking doors and fenders off?
I don’t, but I have access to one. Good buddy of mine, he just painted his 98 v6 black with harbor freights $20 guns. Wasn’t a perfect job but for his first time and the guns he used it looks really good! Gives me the urge to spray mine myself now. Now I don’t plan on using those guns, I want to buy myself a good gun probably around $100-200 and shoot it with thatDo you have a large enough compressor? And how about filter/water trap?
If you want to spend that kind of money on a gun and you want quality, get a devilbiss gun. I got a devilbiss gti pro lite and it is absolutely amazing. Look up “The Gunman” on you tube, he does spray gun reviews and is a really good painter. Watch his videos and learn his technique before you start.I don’t, but I have access to one.
