I agree with the 32 valve motor swap, but not to beat down so much on our motors... I'm very happy with my results going N/A for the 300mark. And 4 the record, I already have under my belt a win over a 2009 EVO X(with bigger intercooler and gate) and a 98 LS1 camaro Z28 (with headers, exhaust and tune) :icon_rr:

So it's not that bad at all
Damn simplyme0484 i havent heard from you since my 300rwhp thread lol

DUDE!!!! I know :crybaby2: It's been a while. Last I heard from U, u were gona go with a cobra and left alone the 300rwhp project. What's the progress on that??? I finished mine on September and its been a blast!!!! I love the way the set up turned out. Plus I did a mayor change in the paint job and appearance of the car. I'll get u some pics. So whats up with U :dontknow:
Yeah i was gone get a cobra but i was gone do a tranny swap, then i moved and everything just got out of whack and never got a chance to finish i could have been done with the build but lost intrest and sold my cams, tranny, rims, springs, and everything else i had looking for a 5.0 sn95 did you ever get that beast dynoed??????

Ah man that sucks :angry7: To bad you could finish the project nor get the cobra. I did get it dynoed, it made 312-315rwhp and that was around six months ago and it was only a dyno run no tuning involved. Now I'm heading back to get the correct air/fuel ratio to see if I can get to the 320rwhp mark. The thing is, I can't find the time to do it :BangHead: I'm hopping that by July I'll have it done.

I just did this last week, I went from 229 rwhp / 279 torque to 308 rwhp and 305 torque to the wheels. I used Patriot stage 2 heads, comp Ah262 extreme energy cams, aluminum professional products intake manifold, 24lb injectors, 85mm mass airflow meter (I think C&L, check back with me and I'll let you know). Also you need a 3.73 gear ratio to get the most out of this combo. I had Tony at HP Performance in Orange Park, Jacksonvill tune it. The guy is a genius at Mustang tuning.

415 bucks to get it tuned at HP Performance, and I had a friend who is a Ford Mech do the head swap work for $500. At a shop like HP it would have cost $1200 plus tuning.

Oh yeah, duff Daddy is right about the new valve seals. It's been less than a week and I saw the smoke today, man this sucks. While it's tore apart, do that. Also you'll need a T section for the 2 temp sensors in order for it to work right.

Kinda OT, but why do the Patriots burn oil exactly? Do they just use a crappy style of valve seal?

What is the best style valve seal? Is it FoMoCo OEM or a company like Viton or FelPro? I'm gonna be doing my seals soon(stock heads) and just would like to know...

BEST seals you can get are the oe ford ones, why do patriots burn, they had issues with a soft valve stem for a while then the seals were a CH too big for the actual stem then they wouldnt seal correctly to the valve guide so many issues, im not 100% mine are leaking and are the ONLY thing i know they are but i dont know if i have other issues being only 5k old and less then a year id hope that was it .....

Pretty sure that BBK is one of the only manufacturers of LT's that DON'T fit a Stang with an auto tranny. From what I've been told, Mac and the other big names all fit fine.
