Hey guys,

Just thought i'd share a few pics of where i'm at with my stang right now.I bought the car in 2008 as a Japanese import as a stock AODE equipped GT.

Over the past year i have done some changes in the quest for speed! I decided to fit an almost new 342 Stroker that was going at a good price and strapped my V2 back on,a TR 3550 manual conversion, complete with lakewood scattershield, spec stage 3 clutch & aluminum flywheel.

The motor is based on the B50 block with the spec in my signature. It came out of a Fox with 1000mls on it,he did 3 runs down the strip & came back with a 10.9 at around 130mph.(570hp)
He had it it back to the dyno after some mods & made 638 FWHP,using a NOVI 2000 with dyno sheet to prove.

As we speak the motor, trans etc is all in & driving, but just running on a TwEEcer base tune until i get to the dyno.

Decided to paint the valve covers black & get some AN12 bungs welded on for breather hoses.

Pumps mounted, the kit is meant for the Fox but went in with a few alterations

Only just started working again after getting made redundant last year,so the car was put on hold until now.

The transmission has had an annoying leak since i installed it,so went ahead i pulled it,stripped it down & re-sealed with ultra black,so far so good. Also refilled with Penzoil Syncromesh and it shifts much nicer now.

.

Picked up this rebuilt (low miles)rear end with Motive 3.55 gears, got the girdle from Ebay and installed both a few weeks back.Only issue is a whine which starts around 40mph which is annoying.

Going from 2.73's to 3.55 resulted in a vibration which started around 70mph & shook the car bad,so i went ahead and purchased a FRPP Aluminum driveshaft just the other day & installed it last night, took it up to 100mph and all seems well :)

So that's where its at right now, gotta change the oil, install some new plugs and hopefully hit the dyno within the next month or so.

Thanks for reading.

Evening all..well been here is a little progress during the last month or so.

1.I picked up a damaged Cobra hood a few years back, finally got around to getting it repaired/painted and on the car

2.Weight loss,Removed the rear seats and seat belts last week & made up a seat delete today, not the best pic but you get the idea.
Rear seats approx 45lbs & seat belts 5lbs...unable to weigh the delete panels, but not much at all.

Here is a list of what else has been removed/changed so far,i have not weighed anything myself, they are from researching online.

Mach 460 rear speaker housing w/amps: 22 lbs

Rear axle dogbone weight (Mott bar) under differential : 8 lbs

Stock 4-cat H-pipe : 48 lbs-replaced with Off-road X-pipe : 22 lbs = loss of roughly 26lb

Strut tower brace(don't fit anyway now) : 10 lbs

A/C compressor & lines : 35 lbs

Smog pump with pipes/valves : 10lb

Rear quad shocks & mounting brackets (pair) : 5lb

Rubber blocks behind rear wheels : 1lb

Aluminium heads roughly losing: 40-50lb

Rear seat delete & belts.

Under carpet/firewall insulation.

3.Eibach Prokit springs installed.

Still more in the pipeline, but its starting to get cold here..and all work on the car is outside around the back of my apartment on the back road.

Thanks

Motive gears whine no matter what you do,and the tremac probably shifts way better and smoother, cause i bet someone put regular or sythetic ATF in it? When tremac only recomends syncromesh. Nice thread and car! God i bet parts are spendy to get over there????

Thanks for the comments, yeah it can work out expensive to get new parts from suppliers, then the import duty etc added on.

I often find things at good prices, but then they wont ship to the UK which is annoying.

You have al the crooks and scammers to thank for that! I wont ship over seas cause if you get scammed there is nothing they can do.

Now this is a ****ing mustang build ... Its nice to see a nice built 94-95 stang on here ... I have close to the same setup beside a stock block 302 but will be buying Ford stroker 363 short block soon .. Are you going to upgrade your blower to a T trim or anything bigger ? Also how does your Tremec feel? See you upgraded input and output shafts??

Sweet car can you post some more pics of the motor and videos of WOT ?

U running Flowmaster?
Also any high end cars over there try to race you ? That would be a mistake lol

Thanks man..blower upgrade is quite possible in the future yeah, but also keep watching turbo'd stangs on youtube which is slowly changing my mind :)

My Tremec feels ok,not as nice as i'd hoped mind...1st to 2nd is notchy, the other gears are not bad at all.

Exhaust is offroad X with Magnapack cat back, its bit too raspy if i was to be picky...but sounds nasty :) Much louder in person than in vid.

I'll have to wait until the weather improves before i get some WOT blasts etc,i'll get some up asap.

I have a question for you. The AN12 bungs on your valve covers, were do you have those hoses hooked up too? Is that helping you with the crankcase pressure?
