Nice I never cared for the 05-10 but I absolutely love the 2011+

Me too. I hate the 2005-09 body styles, plus their motors suck balls.

The 2010 got a better body, but the motor still sucks balls.

Steve-Oh - I haven't seen the night Go-Pro vids. That was my friend's camera.

I've been ordering crap in preparation for the great wheel/tire swap and lowering the car.

Tire arrived today from Discounttiredirect.com

I saved $50 with a Black Friday special, plus I'll get another $80 back from Hankook as a rebate. That will bring the total price of all four tires to only $964, which is a helluva deal for tires this big. Similar Michelins were basically two grand.

I got Hankook Ventus Evo V12s based on Sean's recommendation, and positive reviews from Car and Driver Magazine.
- Fronts 275/30/20
- Rears 305/25/20

Once I get these mounted up, I'm curious to see how the back ones will fit on the notch just for fun.

The car is a daily driver, otherwise I'd probably be using Toyo Proxes R888s. I'm not crazy about the 25 aspect ratio out back, would like to have had a 30, but Hankook didn't have them.

Rain isn't much of a concern here in Phoenix, but it's good to have traction if I need it. LOL

I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere in this thread, but what wheels are you planning on using?

I don't know if I posted it or not.

I spoke with Steve Lin from Forgestar. I met him at the SEMA show, and he helped me pick out what I wanted. Sooo...

I'm getting a set of 20x9 and 20x11 Forgestar F14s, with a custom "Brushed Titanium" finish. Basically, the face is machined and the rest of the wheel has a satin silver powdercoat, then the whole thing is clear powdercoated. They will look sort of like this:

Right now I'm shopping for the stuff I need to lower the car too so I can complete the look. Oh, and probably the Boss front lower wing too. Full blown ricer.

Those are sexy as much as people will say who no dish. I don't really like dished wheels on the 2010 up cars

They are concave, but not super concave. It will be much more noticeable with a different camera angle.

I also ordered Koni STR.T shocks and struts, GT500 strut mounts, and Steeda springs. I'm going to lower the car just a little - 1" up front and 1.25" in back. Since the car is my daily driver, I don't want the ride to suck or to be scraping on crap all the time. I'm too old for that crap.

BTW, Coyote parts are stupid expensive. By the time this is all said and done, it's going to cost me four grand to lower the car and put wheels on it. :\

I bought the cheap lowering setup because I want the car to ride nice, but even that is about $850 for shocks/struts/springs/mounts.

I got a great deal on the wheels from Forgestar (SEMA show special cuz I talked to the guy) but all in they are definitely not cheap. Plus I have to spend $200 on stupid TPMS sensors.
