Which an fittings were pissing? I had the same on my fuel rail recently. Not a good place to be pissing....

I recall seeing that on your thread. Not a good place at all! Mine were down at the block. I had a tee coming out of the block to feed the blower and also supply oil to the oil pressure sending units. From what I can tell one of the hoses that attached to the line was hitting the a/c juuuust enough to where it was causing enough sideways pressure/force that the AN fitting wouldn't seal up.

Updates on this thing will probably slow down for a bit. Our baby is due in 2 weeks but managed to get the last of the parts installed and get it tuned. I'll likely try to give it a good detail while I'm out on leave.

And the results after some tuning. It's way more than I expected. I was going to be happy with 475ish so this was a bit of a surprise. The 2.95 pulley is a bit much for the combo so I'll be looking to swap to a 3.33 to try and pull some power out of it. It ran out of injector and MAF but she screams right now.

Found someone with a 3.33 pulley to swap with and got that all changed over. Since I had some time off I also gave the turd a long overdue polish. First time polishing it up since I've owned it.

Started with a good wash then moved on to claybar, Meguiars Ultimate Compound, Meguiars Ultimate Polish, Chemical Guys Lava Wax and then Chemical Guys Black Light. Hit the trim with some Poor Boys Trim Restorer.

I really need to get out for some better pics but here's some quick garage shots.

Car was running and driving great. Took it out the other day to run a couple errands and right as I was pulling in to Home Depot I noticed steam coming from under the hood. Coolant temps looked perfectly fine. Popped the hood and discovered one of the relocated hoses moved and hit the belt. Belt cut the hose and sprayed coolant all over. Thank god I was at Home Depot and was able to toss together a fix (Gorilla Tape and hose clamps) to limp the car home.

Once I got it home and was poking around a bit more I noticed some oil seeping out of my freshly resealed timing cover. This is the second time trying to seal the cover and I've never had issues with one in the past so I decided to just buy a new one along with a new/better (Flowkooler) water pump to prep for next summer.

That's pretty kickass to hit higher numbers than expected, the car looks great too man.

Sorry to hear about the issues but at least it's little things that can be fixed over the winter. Keep us posted on the progress, this build is awesome!

I did a different alternator and alt bracket but it also gave me just enough space to fit that hose under the alt.

Thanks guys.

Before I run the new coolant I'm for sure going to see if I can run it a better way to keep it clear of the belt. If not, I'll find a better way to secure it from moving.

Might also look in to adding an air/oil separator on the hose that runs from the VC to the blower while I'm working on it.

So the replacement timing cover I bought fit like absolute shit. I tried installing it twice but the bolt holes and dowel holes wouldn't line up. Said screw it and decided to try installing the factory one again. Fit perfect, of course, so I'm hoping it sealed up.

Also got the new water pump installed. Here's a pic of the Flowkooler pump compared to stock:

Car is pretty much back together now. Just need to change the oil and it'll be ready to drive again. Having a baby has really cut in to my free time for working on this thing lol.

haha yea, it's crazy loud. Good ol V1.

Nice Car! How did you get thru Colorado emissions with longtubes and 2 cats?

Thanks! The LT's have the port on them for EGR so they are emissions legal. The cats have CARB numbers on them so they were good with those. All the other emission equipment is still intact too. They harassed me more about struggling to find the CARB numbers due to how low it was rather than only having two cats.
