No Saleen grille for me - I have the foglights there and I like them. The louvres... can't decide if I dislike them so much that I'd take 'em off. They're not that bad.

Black Mamba hood? That's not stock?

You dont need no freaking fog lights sir, you have REAL projectors and this is what the black mamba hood looks like, hood looks so badass that GT500 owners are getting lol

Just ordered the GT/CS front end kit with foglights and a Saleen grille. Goddamn you Javi!

thats really sweet must be a blast. Do you live in AZ Paul and if so where? I'm thinking of moving there in a few years would be nice to have someone that lives there be able to give me a little feedback about the good/bad points.

Yep. In North Phoenix. I was born here, and I'll die here. I love Phoenix THAT much.

Javi, you definitely convinced me on that Saleen grille (and the GT/CS front end I'm putting on it) but I don't really like hoods with "scoops." I think they look ridiculous. I really just want a clean, stock hood.

I dont live in AZ, but I go for work about every 5-6 weeks and when I asked for some information from a guy I know who lives in the chandler area, he sent me this map to help guide my lodging decision....I got a good chuckle from it. not sure how correct it is overall, but I usually stay in Scottsdale area and it seems pretty accurate in my experience. Maybe Paul can chime in on it....

I've seen that map. It's pretty accurate. My boss lives in "CEO's & Pro's" and I live in "Poor white people, old houses."

Nope. I'm only on this board and my local one. Otherwise, I mostly peruse sites for research purposes, but don't post.

Some more initial thoughts on the Mustang:
- the stock shifter sucks balls. So far I've tried to hit 3rd fast three times. Twice I missed, and the third time I shifted into 5th. :x
- the radio controls are on the right side of the steering wheel, and the cruise/Sync controls are on the left. Who thought of that? You use your right hand to shift, and your left hand to work the radio. Duh. Morons.
- the steering wheel is really nice, except the big plastic round airbag in the middle. That looks silly.
- the car revs so fast for me that I've hit the limiter a few times. I'm used to crappy old 5.0s that take six weeks to hit redline.
- the seats in my civic have better bolstering for small people like me. Conversly, Sean probably thinks the bolstering is fine. :)
- the car has no spare tire!?!? WTF? I opened it up and there's an electric air pump in there.
- the windows roll down/up slightly when you open the door. This way you don't get that weird "compressed" feeling when you shut the door in a really well-sealed car. Kinda neat.
- I love the way this car sounds.
- First gear goes by quick with 3.73s and the really steep 1st gear in the tranny.
- the white accents on the leather look great.
- the glass roof continues to be fantastically awesome. I really, really love that feature.

You are not making me want one less right now Paul....

dammit.

And I have to agree, that car w/ the 3.73 option is INCREDIBLY fun. Thing is like a missle....

hmm makes me want to go get one, been contemplating it for a few weeks since paying mine off. But having no car payment is sooo nice.

This car is so infinitely better than any Mustang built in a long time - I highly recommend dumping your cars and buying one of these. Especially if you have an anemic 4.6.
